Linda Novak, MD

Dr. Linda Novak completed her requirements for incorporation through the University of San Carlos in Guatemala in January, 2010 por el Acuerdo de Rectoria No 0006-2010. She is currently engaged in clinical visits to the rural communities and administrative responsibilities for each organization.

Jack Page M.D

Dr. Jack Page was board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine for 28 years before he retired from emergency medicine. In addition to his medical degree, Jack received an MBA from the University of Charleston. He has been both a full time and part time clinical instructor in the program since 2007. Prior to his work teaching medical students in the Petén, Jack and his wife Bernie (also an emergency physician) were responsible for helping to initiate inpatient and emergency services at the Hospitalito in Santiago Atitlan.

Kris Fisher, RN

Kris Fisher was introduced to the USIHA in the spring of 2012 while visiting her son who was participating in the international health elective in the Petén. Kris holds a Masters Degree in community health nursing from the University of Kansas. She and her husband, Dr. Marc Fisher, volunteer at a free health clinic that serves the undocumented and the uninsured in Kankakee, Illinois
